India, Dayanand Medical College & Hospital (DMC & H), Ludhiana.
His expertise is evident from the fact that he has been awarded
national level scholarship for his outstanding achievements in
the field of Anesthesiology from B.Braun Medical Trust
Foundation. He is having experience of work in Cardiac
Anesthesia as observer during his residency and as Consultant,
Cardiac Anesthesiologist at cardiac center.
The knowledge of cardiovascular drugs & invasive monitoring
helps him to handle difficult operative cases as well as
His special interests are Intensive Care management & Pain clinic.
Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at Joshi Hospital is 7 bedded with
facility for central monitoring. This is in hall type
configuration with movable curtains for patient privacy and
convenience. Each bed is equipped with routine as well as
invasive monitoring. Trauma victims are the usual kind of
patients admitted in this ICU. The patients range from a child
with cut finger, a young adult with amputated arm or leg to
elderly patient with fracture neck of femur. Patients in shock,
having multiple trauma or spine injuries are being managed by
him in this unit.
He is successfully running Pain clinic in Joshi Hospital with
separate consultation rooms, dedicated space, intervention rooms
having facilities for monitoring, resuscitation drugs and
equipment, X-ray imaging with C-arms.
